At West End Workforce, we believe that business can, and should, be about more than business.

One of our core values is Generous: We Give More Than We Take. That belief is at the heart of W|E Care, our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.

A portion of every dollar West End Workforce earns goes back into organizations doing meaningful work. In 2025, we proudly supported 11 North American organizations, each representing a cause that matters to our team, and reflects the kind of impact we want to have in the world.

“At West End, we believe every cause matters. No nonprofit is too large or too small, and no mission is too unique, for us to consider a partnership in the future.

I have been immeasurably blessed through my family, friendships, the people who have believed in me, and the professional opportunities and partnerships I’ve been fortunate enough to experience. When I started West End, I knew I wanted to build something that was about more than our own success. In fact, our mission is to Fuel the Success of Others, and W|E Care is really an extension of that.

It keeps me grounded in why we are building this company. Growth is exciting and revenue matters as it allows us to employ people, create opportunities and build something sustainable. What makes success meaningful is what we are able to do with it.”

Although we support nearly a dozen organizations, we’d like to highlight two of the organizations that hold a special place in our W|E Care story: the Arthritis Foundation and the Houston SPCA.

W|E Support the Arthritis Foundation

Arthritis affects nearly 60 million adults and hundreds of thousands of children in the United States. But behind those numbers are real people - parents, children, caregivers, grandparents, friends and colleagues - whose everyday lives can be profoundly affected by the disease.

The Arthritis Foundation works to improve the lives of people living with arthritis through science and research, advocacy, resources, education and community connections, while pursuing a future where people with arthritis can live without limits.

We love supporting organizations like the Arthritis Foundation because their work reminds us that people matter - one of our most important values.

“One of my favorite things about W|E Care is that many of the opportunities to give back have happened organically through our relationships.

West End has always been built around relationships. Our clients aren’t just transactions to us, and neither are our recruiters or candidates. When you genuinely get to know the people you’re working with, you learn what matters to them, their communities, organizations, causes and sometimes the challenges they’re experiencing personally.”

Whether it’s advancing research, helping people navigate life with arthritis, or making sure patients have a voice, the impact extends far beyond a single contribution.

W|E Love Animals

Our team also has a tremendous soft spot for animals.

Dogs, cats, horses and honestly any animal that brings companionship, comfort and joy into so many of our lives. Several members of the West End team are proud pawrents, and many to rescues. Supporting animal welfare feels especially personal to us.

Organizations, such as the SPCA of Houston, are in the humane movement working every day to protect animals, respond to crises, provide care and rescue, prevent cruelty, and build a more compassionate relationship between people and animals. The Houston SPCA was founded in 1924, and is Houston’s oldest and largest Animal Protection Organization. Completely privately funded, they are proud to serve more than 100,000 animals annually.

“Giving back is about supporting the communities and causes that matter to us. It reflects our values, strengthens our connection to others, and allows our success to create a positive impact beyond West End.”

If we could support them all we would.

For us, this is another expression of what W|E Care means: finding organizations whose work aligns with our values and supporting them intentionally.

Giving Back Is Part of Who We Are

We don’t see giving back as a checkbox. It’s part of how we operate. It’s part of the culture we’re building.

And it’s one of the reasons we are proud of the relationships we have with our clients, candidates and community partners.

Every time you partner with West End, you are part of something bigger than a placement. With every invoice, W|E give back.

“Our goal is to grow W|E Care to give back $100,000 back to the communities we serve.

We also want our team to have a voice in where that support goes. Even in some of our internal contests, part of the prize is the opportunity for the team member to choose an organization that matters to them and have West End make a donation on their behalf.

I love that because it makes giving personal. We learn what matters to our people, what experiences have shaped them and which causes are closest to their hearts.”

That means our clients and candidates aren’t simply helping us grow a business, they’re helping us put real resources behind organizations doing work that matters.

That’s what W|E Care means to us.

Do the right thing. Make people matter. Give more than you take.

“We say all the time at West End that we are better together. W|E Care is what that looks like in action. Success isn’t just about what we build as a company, it’s about what we’re able to do for other people because we built it.”
