Project Accountant - Data Center Construction (Edmonton)

Level: Project Manager band | Team: Project | Type: Full-time employee | Location: Edmonton area, Alberta | Target start: Q3 2026 | Range: CAD $125,000 - $175,000 base

The role

Project-level financial control on the Edmonton-region campus - cost tracking, contractor payment applications, commitment management and reporting, working alongside the site project team and into the construction finance function.

What you will own

• Project cost tracking and reporting against budget.
• Contractor payment application review, verification and processing.
• Purchase order and commitment management.
• Change order tracking and cost impact recording.
• Monthly project cost reporting and forecast input.
• Accrual and month-end support for the project.

What we require

• Project accounting experience on large construction projects.
• Working knowledge of construction cost mechanics - payment applications, retention, holdback, change orders.
• Accuracy under time pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfort working closely with a site-based project team.
