Supply Chain Lead - Data Center Program (Remote)

Level: Director / Vice President | Team: Program | Type: Full-time employee | Location: Remote - North America. Calgary or Dallas preferred, not required | Target start: Q3 2026 | Range: CAD $250,000 - $375,000 base, plus bonus

The role

The client carries procurement responsibility for major equipment across its portfolio while general contractors carry installation. When equipment lands late, lands wrong, or does not land at all, that risk sits with the client and there is no one to pass it to.

This role owns the strategy and execution that prevents that. It is a program-level position spanning multiple campuses in Canada and the United States, and it is among the most schedule-critical hires the client will make this year.

What you will own

• Long-lead procurement strategy across the portfolio - switchgear, transformers, generators, chillers and other critical path equipment.
• Owner-furnished equipment program management, including alignment of delivery sequencing with contractor installation programs.
• Vendor and OEM relationship management, including capacity commitments, slot reservations and escalation.
• Cross-border logistics into Canada - customs, brokerage, duty, transport and the schedule contingency that cross-border movement requires.
• Procurement risk reporting into program leadership, with early warning rather than after-the-fact explanation.
• Building the supply chain function as the portfolio scales, including process, systems and eventual team.

What we require

• Data center supply chain or procurement experience at program level. Equipment lead times, allocation dynamics and OEM relationships in this sector are specific and cannot be learned in post.
• Direct experience of owner-furnished equipment models and the interface risk they create with general contractors.
• A track record of protecting delivery schedules through early procurement rather than reactive expediting.
• Comfort operating as a function of one in the early period, building structure as you go.

What will set you apart

• Cross-border North American logistics experience, particularly into Canada.
• Experience with self-generation or behind-the-meter power equipment procurement.
• A network of live OEM and vendor relationships in the current constrained market.

This role is deliberately not restricted to Canada. Location is flexible across North America.
